Maybelline Signs a New Spokesperson

The brand's new ad campaign will debut later this year.

Maybelline New York has signed a new spokesperson – Mexican beauty Daniela de Jesus. Daniela will make her Maybelline New York debut in print and television advertising campaigns in late 2013.

She joins a notable group of spokeswomen, which includes Christy Turlington, Julia Stegner, Erin Wasson, Kemp Muhl,Shu-Pei Qin,Emily DiDonato,Jessica White,Charlotte Free, andFrida Gustavsson.

“Maybelline New York is delighted to have Daniela with us, representing the positive spirit, cosmopolitan energy, and fashion edge of the brand,” saysDamien Bertrand, Global Brand President of Maybelline New York.

Born inLa Paz, Mexico, Daniela was discovered and signed to Major Model Management in 2005 after participating in her country’s national beauty pageant, Nuestra Belleza Mexico. Since then, Daniela has walked the runway forJean Paul Gaultier,Giambattista Valli,Vivienne Westwood, Marchesa,Mara Hoffman,Betsey Johnson, andAlexandre Vauthier, among others.

She has also been featured in advertising campaigns for Emporio Armani, Victoria’s Secret, Ralph Lauren Fragrances, and Guess.
